Notice of Availability for Comment

The reports of the Canada Border Services Agency’s involvement in procurement of fraudulent documents overseas and providing false evidence and testimony to the Immigration and Refugee Board in the case of Ebrahim Toure are shocking developments warranting full investigation and highlighting once again the need for independent CBSA oversight.

Legal and human rights organizations have been calling for an independent accountability agency to supervise the CBSA for many years.
