Me Alfredo Garcia

Mr. Alfredo Garcia is one of the founding partners of the Semperlex law firm. He holds two law degrees, one from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico (1997) and another from the University of Ottawa (2012), both awarded with honors. With over 28 years of experience in various areas of law, he has practiced in both the public and private sectors. Since 2017, he has been practicing at Semperlex, where he specializes in immigration and refugee law in Canada, as well as international trade law. Over the past decade, he has focused his professional activities on these specific areas. Mr. Garcia is particularly committed to supporting vulnerable communities and works actively with various social organizations and advocates for women’s rights, as well as the LGBTQI+ community . He is a regular speaker in the media, where he addresses contemporary migration issues . He is a member of the AQAADI, the ACAAR, and the APAAQ, and is regularly invited by the media to share his expertise on immigration and human rights matters.
