Sherritt Greene Immigration Law Centre

As a partner at Sherritt Greene, I maintain a broad immigration and refugee law practice. I am involved in a wide range of files including refugee claims, applications for permanent residence, humanitarian and compassionate claims, admissibility matters, pre-removal risk assessments, work/study permit applications, and family sponsorships. I am actively involved in a wide range of complex litigation files, including those involving exclusion, criminality and national security matters. I have assisted clients with matters before the Immigration Division, the Immigration Appeal Division, the Refugee Protection Division, the Refugee Appeal Division, and the Federal Court of Canada. Prior to joining Sherritt Greene, I articled for a leading refugee law and international human rights lawyer, David Matas. During law school I completed an exchange program in Jerusalem in international law, and worked for the UN in Amman, Jordan. I was a speaker at a major North American refugee health conference on the topic of the use of psychological evidence in refugee claim determinations. I currently serve as the Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Alberta Immigration Section South Branch.
